| 内容記述 | The present study objective was to determine the effectiveness of psychoeducation following discharge from the hospital among patients with schizophrenia who were admitted to the psychiatric emergency ward. During the study period, we conducted semi-structured interviews (mean duration, 23 minutes) with 6 patients and transcribed the interview contents. Data from the interview were then coded and analyzed using a qualitative inductive analysis. We extracted 16 (subcategories) and 4 [categories]. Extraction of the three categories of promote opportunities to gain insight into the disease, peace of mind regarding treatment, and recurrence prevention indicated that continuation of psychoeducation following discharge was effective. In addition, with regard to psychiatric emergency nursing methods, the secondary effect revealed that early intervention to promote self-management of medication and cognitive function rehabilitation can contribute to the effective implementation of psychoeducation. | |||||
